Cath is the author of an acclaimed book about how we define success in sport, business, education and life: \u2018The Long Win\u2019, one of the FT\u2019s top 10 Business books of 2020 and Daily Mail\u2019s best sports books of 2020 \u2013 a revised second edition was published in May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Cath teaches on Executive Education programmes at the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, writes monthly columns on topics of culture in sport for The Guardian &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/profile\/cath-bishop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cath Bishop | The Guardian<\/a>, and is an independent cultural advisor to British Gymnastics on the implementation of cultural change. Cath competed in rowing at 3 Olympic Games, winning World Championships gold in 2003 and Olympic silver in Athens 2004. As a diplomat for the British Foreign Office for 12 years, Cath specialized in policy and negotiations on conflict issues, with postings to Bosnia and Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cath now works as a speaker alongside her work as a leadership and culture coach, facilitator and author. She works with leaders across sport, business and education to develop high performing teams, resilient and inclusive environments and sustainable performance cultures where people can thrive and do their best work.
