Mark Hedberg is also known as The Expat Vet. Born in Oregon, western USA, Mark grew up in Saudi Arabia and moved to Budapest for his veterinary degree. He finished University in 2006, got married, and moved back to Saudi to work in the vet clinic he had originally volunteered in.

After three years, he moved over to the UK to work in private practice in Dover, then moved over to The College of Animal Welfare in Godmanchester, where he ran the CPD program there for four years.

One more short stint in clinical practice later, he emigrated to Hungary, and, until recently, worked with a company that sells pharmacological and physiology research equipment.

Mark is also a forum moderator at Not One More Vet and supports veterinary professionals dealing with mental health challenges. Before that, he was a volunteer with VetLife. He is currently working in Veterinary Pharma sales in Hungary.
