Carly has always known that she wanted to be a vet nurse. After spending many Saturdays with her local veterinary practice, she registered with the RCVS in 2001. After qualifying in 2006, Carly has worked within farm, equine, referral and first opinion practice and the referral locum scene.
She has gained an ISFM certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing, an ESVPS certificate in anaesthesia, an ISVPS certificate in surgical nursing and is also the BVNA Regional Representative for the South West (Somerset and Gloucestershire)!
Having found her niche in the surgical side of nursing, Carly truly understands the importance of doing what makes you happy and is keen to help other veterinary professionals increase their confidence and excel in their careers.
Outside of work, she is a mother of two girls, a Scout leader, a runner and a wine drinker!
