Laura began nursing in 2007 and became an RVN in 2010. After spending the first half of her career working in various GP, out-of-hours, and surgical referral clinics, Laura became an internal medicine nurse at a multidisciplinary referral clinic in 2015.

She has been in love with internal medicine ever since and now works as the Senior Medicine Nurse at the Ralph Referral Centre. Laura also runs Veterinary Internal Medicine Nursing, an educational resource helping veterinary nurses develop their medical nursing skills. She became a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Small Animal Medicine in 2019 and loves all aspects of medical nursing, especially endoscopy and caring for chronic disease patients. Outside of work, she enjoys social media, motorbikes, drag racing and kickboxing!
