Shannon is a graduate of Atlantic Veterinary Class of 2017. She is a small animal veterinarian practising in southern Maine and is the owner of Eliot Veterinary Hospital.

Shannon first got involved with NOMV after her own mental health struggles and worked to start the NOMV Ambassadors Committee. She is the Education Committee Co-Chair and a member of NOMV Seacoast. Shannon joined the NOMV Board of Directors in 2023. She is also passionate about animal behaviour and mental health and is pursuing speciality training in veterinary behaviour.

She currently lives in Lebanon with her husband, dogs, cats, reptiles and horses. While not at work she enjoys hiking with her dogs, horseback riding, skiing, gardening, knitting and reading.
