Originally from Aberdeen, Chris Wilson graduated from Glasgow Uni in 2012. However, he nearly didn’t go to vet school and considered a career in competitive swimming instead!

He started work in Aberdeenshire in independent mixed practice for 2 years before working abroad for charities in India and Thailand. Whilst abroad, Chris treated lots of different animals, from dogs to elephants and enjoyed the unique challenges and cultural differences he experienced.

Upon returning, he did some small animal locumming for a year in Bolton and Manchester, before moving to London where he has remained since. Chris completed his CertAVP a year ago and is now studying for his designated internal medicine exam.

Chris has a pet rescue tortoise and enjoys keeping fit, geeking out on films and getting back up north for weekends in the Scottish mountains!
